How do you grab the attention of a prospect?

Nov 29, 2023

6 things I’ve learned about prospects and how I write to them:

💡 Most likely, they know absolutely NOTHING about you, your company, and your product.

Use a snappy one-liner that can describe your product so well, even your grandmother could understand it.Use clickbait language to your advantage (ie. trending words and emotion provoking language)

💡 Your prospect is always going to connect it to something they already know, especially if you’re in a competitive market.

Explain one thing (and that thing better be good!) that completely differentiates you from your competitors

💡Harsh truth, nobody has time for nobodies.

Address the number one objection upfront.

Be precise about benefits. We do this exact thing to save you money. Not just, we save you money.

💡 You’ve got 30sec (if even!) to make a mark.

Avoid talking about your company values or mission — you just don’t have enough brand equity at this point for people to care

💡Keep it light.

Don’t send them a calendar link if they haven’t even read your message yet. Confirm their interest first before shoving your schedule down their throat.
