Some of the biggest opportunities I see sales teams missing out on lie in their cold outreach. 🤔
Here are the 3 common mistakes that I see happening daily across the board:
1. Believing you're "out of leads" and spending $$$ on new contact databases.
The reality? Only 3% of the market is buying at any given time. Instead of constantly chasing new leads, put your current ones into an engagement campaign. Follow up in a month — timing = everything. 💸 💸 💸
2. Not locking down future meetings.
When a lead says, “Let’s talk in two weeks,” don’t just pollitely agree. Say, “Let’s put a placeholder on the calendar. If it’s not a good time, we can reschedule.” This locks in a commitment without being pushy. 🔒🔒🔒
3. Not customizing your outreach channels.
Don’t just dump every lead into a multichannel campaign. Use LinkedIn for active users or those with unverified emails, and focus on email for those who haven’t connected with you on LinkedIn yet. 🎨 🎨🎨
