Here are a few commonly tracked metrics that may NOT actually be improving your outbound results... despite how cool they can be 📈
Meaningless metrics:
🔪 Email open rate
🔪 Response rates that include out of offices
🔪 # of activities
🔪 Bounce rate (if you’re not gonna do anything about it)
🔪 Click rate (usually it’s a bot anyway)
Meaningful metrics:
🌟 # of meetings booked
🌟 Positive response rates
🌟 Negative responses (if they give a reason for not being interested)
🌟 Bounce rate (if you’re gonna do something about it)
🌟 % of positive responses from follow ups (are your follow ups even working?!)
